With 25 years of teaching experience, Sri. K. Mohan Rao has significantly contributed to the academic and cultural landscape of the institution. His dynamic teaching methods, deep knowledge of Telugu literature—both classical and modern—and passion for the subject have enriched the learning experience of countless students. He has played a vital role in achieving consistently good academic results in Telugu and in guiding students in literary competitions, elocutions, and essay writing contests at both college and district levels.

The department also actively organizes literary activities, guest lectures, and Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam celebrations to instill pride in mother tongue and cultural heritage.
